Milled bust type 2 escudos, dated 1778/7 (the last 8 is struck over a 7 - rare over-date), Charles III, Madrid mint, assayer PJ, full weight at 6.7 grams, graded extremely fine for wear.  Coin is mounted in a 18K gold bezel with fixed bale, and with bezel, is about the size of a quarter.
