Roma Coin Jewelry

Ancient Roman Republic Roma style silver denarius coins were minted in the time period from 150 B.C. to 100 B.C.  The denarius first appeared as the standard Roman coin around 211 B.C. and retained its popularity for over 400 years, well into the third century A.D.  In Roman mythology, Roma was the goddess of the city of Rome.  The worship of Roma remained an important part of Roman religion until the rise of Christianity.
